Auxiliary

Small-Color-VFW-Auxiliary-LogoThe Auxiliary VFW was founded in 1914 to help veterans and their families. At the dawn of this new Millennium, that is still the primary goal of the organization. The organization has achieved its own unique identity while working side-by-side with the veterans who belong to VFW.

A person may join the Auxiliary if they are a grandparent, parent, spouse, sibling, child or grandchild of a veteran who is eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, is at least 16 years of age and a United States citizen or national.

Like the VFW, the Auxiliary’s interest have broadened to encompass the entire community. The Auxiliary embodies the spirit of America that has prevailed through war and peace. It is solidly behind America today as it was when it was founded.
The Auxiliary is an integral part of the VFW and supports a host of programs which pursue issues of national importance to veterans. These programs are designed to preserve veterans rights, advocate a strong national defense, promote patriotism and offer community service.
We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month. If you are interested in joining, please contact the Post at 410 356 6578 and leave a number or email address where you can be reached and someone will get in touch with you.
